I am an illustrator and comic book author from California, living in
Los Angeles.
I have been a professional artist since 2014, when I began illustration and curatorial work in college at The School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston. I have given talks and workshops, and organized exhibitions, parties, and radio shows with places like MOMA PS1, The Children’s Museum of NY, The ICA Boston, Kickstarter Headquarters, Cuchifritos Gallery, The Clemente Soto Vélez Cultural and Educational Center and Longwood Art Gallery @ Hostos Community College.
My drawings and comics have been published in indie publications and created for women-run and POC centered businesses and non-profits. I have been featured in The New York Times and Hyperallergic, and recently was a resident at the MacDowell Foundation. I self-published my comics series CRISIS by myself for five years. In 2021, CRISIS was acquired by Drawn & Quarterly for publication as a full-length graphic novel which I am currently working on.
